As a runner you are probably only interested in three things. Can I run faster? Can I run for longer? How can I run without getting injured?

Many of the patients I see at Shaun Tyler Osteopath want all of the above. However, most of them grab their trainers and get pounding the pavements with little warm up or undertaking any strength and conditioning. The strength work they do perform is rarely running specific. As much as their muscles burn doing BodyPump or the 8-10reps of bench press in the gym, this will not get them running for longer, faster or reduce their risk of injury.
